Dear Prayer Partners,
It's been a blessing to begin visiting churches, and get acquainted
with many new faces. We appreciate seeing God's people faithfully
reaching the lost. We would love to report to your church before we
return to South Africa in June or July of this year. Please contact
us if you would like to have us come.
Bible Baptist Church
We praise the Lord for His working at Bible Baptist
Church in Kempton Park, South Africa. The faithful members of the
church continue to meet together for the weekly services and prayer
meetings. I had the opportunity to go alone to South Africa for about
a week in January to check on the ministry.
Please pray for a new family that has begun attending. Michael and
Melissa Sithebe were looking for a good church in our area. They
recently moved from Durban, South Africa with their four children:
Dante, Phoebe, Asaiah, and Atarah. Michael's desire to be a part of a
Bible-teaching church has been a blessing.
Linda Mazibuko's brother, Sibusiso, has recently started attending
the church. He has faithfully attended, and seems to be truly seeking
God. Also, please continue to pray for Linda to get baptized. He is
one of the most faithful people in the church; it would be a blessing
to see him make this important step.
Other Praises:
- Thuli
continues to faithfully attend the church.
- Pastor
Donovan from a neighboring church has been a great help in preaching.
- Bongiwe
has started a courtship with a young man who plans to pastor a
church about an hour from us.
- Mesmer
has provided good leadership in the church in my absence.
- Siya
continues to faithfully attend and help with the song leading.
Prayer Requests
- Sibusiso
(Linda's brother) to be saved
- Michael
& Melissa Sithebe and family to be added to the church
- Linda
to be baptized and be a dedicated disciple and leader for Christ
- Please
pray for Khanya, Mbali, and Jojo as the process continues in
finding a more permanent home for them through Onthatile
Children's Ministries.
Family Life
It's been a great blessing to
have Peter, Seth, and Heidi in school. Also, we have been able to
have those three and Titus all learning to play violin and/or piano.
Laura continues to do a great job with the busy job of motherhood. I
have recently finished training as a bus driver, and between meetings
will be driving a school bus in Mukwonago. I'm looking forward to the
opportunity to connect with and reach out to people in my home town.
Thank You!
Thank you for your continued prayers and support! We also want to
thank all those who sent special gifts and notes for Christmas and
for our birthdays and anniversary. You have all been a great
blessing.
Your missionaries to South Africa,
Nathan, Laura, Peter, Seth, Heidi, Titus, Eva, and Ethan Roberts
