When did the Hypostatic Union of Christ end?

The term "Hypostatic Union" refers to the miraculous union of both deity and humanity in Jesus Christ. This, of course, took place at His Incarnation when "the Word was made flesh" (John 1:14 , making Him 100% God and 100% man.
This union has never ended. While that statement never expressly appears in the Scriptures, there are numerous verses that teach that doctrine.
I John 4:2
"Hereby know ye the Spirit of God: Every spirit that confesseth that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh is of God"
*The verb, "is come" is in the perfect tense, which is defined as follows: "action completed at a specific point of time in the past with results continuing into the present." Thus, Jesus came in the flesh at a point in time (the Incarnation), and continues in that state until today.
Acts 1:9-11
"And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight. And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel; Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven."
*Jesus went to Heaven with a human body, and will return with a human body, so it make sense that He continues to have a human body today.'
Col 2:9
"For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily."
*The fulness of the Godhead STILL dwells (present tense) within Christ's body every bit as much as it did while He walked on earth
1Ti 2:5
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus"
*Jesus Christ in His humanity serves as our High Priest. He is able to represent man before God because He is both God and man
Hebrews 7:22-27
"By so much was Jesus made a surety of a better testament. And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:
But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them. For such an high priest became us, who is holy, harmless, undefiled, separate from sinners, and made higher than the heavens; Who needeth not daily, as those high priests, to offer up sacrifice, first for his own sins, and then for the people's: for this he did once, when he offered up himself."
*Jesus Christ, as a man, has an unchanging priesthood. At the same time He is holy, undefiled, separate from sinners, and higher than the heavens, showing that He is also God. The same One Who offered Himself on the cross serves as High Priest today.
Hebrews 4:14-15
"Seeing then that we have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession. For we have not an high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities; but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin."
*Jesus is able to be an effective High Priest because He can relate to the infirmities that humans feel because He continues to have His humanity.
Many years ago I heard the late Dr. David Cummins make the following statement concerning Christ's Incarnation: "Remaining what He ever was, He became what He never was, ever to remain the same." In other words, Jesus was always God, and that never changed. However, at the Incarnation He became the God-man (as a result of the Hypostatic Union), and that has never changed.
Hope this helps.
